Gate Gourmet, a gategroup company, is the world’s largest independent provider of catering and provisioning services for airlines and railroads.
We serve more than 200 million meals a year to our 250-plus customers at more than 100 airport locations around the globe. We are currently looking for an Assistant Admin Operations to join our Operations team based in Seattle, Washington at the Seatac Airport. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Assistant Admin Ops will be responsible for the completing and managing as well as administration of duty free paperwork and inventory.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for dispatch sheets, adds and deletes, special meals, second finals and equipment changes, data entry.
Education
High school diploma
Associates Degree preferred
Work Experience
1-3 years clerical experience
Manufacturing experience
Order processing experience
Job Skills
Basic computer skills
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Team player
Detail oriented
Communication Skills
Bi-lingual a plus
Excellent written communication skills
Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations
Environmental Requirements
Working around kitchen items and machinery
Walking, standing for long periods of time
Must be able to lift, push, bend, squat, twist/rotate, reach, and carry various items
