Audit/Risk Consulting Manager
RSM McGladrey Inc., which is affiliated through an alternative practice structure with McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, is the nation's fifth largest firm providing accounting, tax, consulting and financially focused services. Rapid growth in our Regulatory Insurance Consulting Practice across the country has created the opportunity to expand our team.
Position Overview
An Audit/Risk Consulting Manager will lead a team and perform risk consulting services for state insurance departments and industry, outsource internal audit services for financial services industry clients as well as providing Sarbanes-Oxley and internal controls consulting services to our regional and national clients. This position has significant opportunity for advancement as well as personal and professional growth.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years total professional accounting or auditing experience with 3+ years in a public accounting environment
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- CPA or CPA candidate, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designations preferred
- PC skills, including experience in using software for producing presentations, spreadsheets, and project planning (skilled in TeamMate, ACL/Access, and MS Excel, Word and Power Point)
- Demonstrated history of project management experience
- Ability to interact with all levels including executives and senior managers
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, analytical and auditing skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects and assignments using effective time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
- Dynamic/flexible demeanor with exceptional client service skills
