HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
HART RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT, INC. A BURGER KING FRANCHISEE 


Position is responsible for Market-level management recruitment and human resources generalist activity.  Position reports to the Executive Management Team and actively supports Directors of Operations and District Managers in support of Management Recruiting for the markets and individual restaurants and human resources generalist accountabilities. 


The position has a key working accountability to the Chief Operations Officer.  The position has limited responsibility in defining independent human resources programs but is responsible for identifying needs and opportunities and defining responses to these opportunities utilizing current defined Hart Restaurant Management Inc. programs and executing these programs.


RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:


Recruitment

  • To manage the recruitment process for restaurant management and multi-unit management  Including: developing search strategies; identifying, sourcing, and evaluating prospective candidates; interviewing and recommending candidates; conducting reference checks; assisting with candidate closing and the transition of new employees into the organization
  • Effectively recruit candidates through cost effective recruitment techniques

    Coordinate interviews with General Managers, District Managers and Directors of Operations. With the Operations Group negotiate final position requirements (compensation, relocation, etc.) with manager candidates

  • Participate in employee and new manager in training orientation (possibly lead)

  • Train District Managers and General Managers on HRMI's selection systems and interview processes on an ongoing basis

Generalist

Responsible for leading the Human Resource Generalist functions for the support center, positively impact on business results for all people-related functions in our business.

 

  • Human Resources Reporting administration

  • Compensation & Benefits management
  • Risk Management administration
  • Employee Relations management
  • Support Employee Relations personnel in conducting HR audits, investigating allegations of harassment and labor / company policy violations, responding to EEOC charges and resolving employee grievances on an as needed basis
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and legislation

 

Required Travel: 20 - 30%

Five years of progressive Human Resources experience in a variety of multi-site
or change-oriented environments
FOOD, RETAIL EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED.
