TGIB Marketing Inc. (D/B/A RockBottomGolf.com) is a leading internet retailer. RockBottomGolf.com is the third highest trafficked golf endemic website in the world. Founded in 2002, TGIB Marketing has achieved fantastic growth and we are now positioned to develop new sporting goods markets (RockBottomSports.com). We are actively looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to develop our new health & fitness category.
This individual will be responsible for the procurement and merchandising of health & fitness gear on multiple internet sales channels. Buyer is responsible for achieving revenue, profit margin, inventory turnover, site merchandising and promotional goals. Once category is developed, candidate will manage 1-3 junior buyers.
Location: Rochester, NY (corporate) -OR- Hampton Roads, VA (distribution center)
Reports To: CEO
Essential Functions:
· Manages Site taxonomy and product placement on the site
· Develop merchandise assortments by category and continually evaluate, analyze, and adjust these assortments
· Vendor relations to include selection, negotiation, communication, and partnership development
· Open-to-Buy, pricing, and markdown management
· Analyze, forecast, and interpret market and consumer trends
