Job Description 

Highly reputed, international, heavy construction company is looking for its future CFO. Join this company as the Senior Controller and prepare for a career ride all the way to becoming the Chief Financial Officer.
The Sr. Controller will provide strategic financial leadership for all the business entities within the corporation. Responsibilities will include: Supervising all corporate accounting staff; Implementing financial control policies; Interpreting & reporting results; Protecting assets & tax administration; Analyzing accounting trends and monitoring daily accounting operations; Preparing internal & external financial reports; Serving as consultant & liaison; and Cooperating with outside agencies.

 


Job Requirements 

  • 10+ years of senior accounting/tax leadership experience is REQUIRED.
  • Ideally you will bring 10 years public/Big 4 experience plus experience with a large heavy equipment/construction company.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is REQUIRED.
  • Must have strategic & hands-on leadership skills.
  • Significant & recent corporate tax/IRS knowledge is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of federal, state & local laws government corporations.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, ERP systems &/or JD Edwards, GAAP & IFRS are key.
  • Must be willing & able to travel internationally.
