CONTROLLER / ACCOUNTING MANAGER

A rapidly growing Kansas City company is looking for a Controller / Accounting Manager. The Controller / Accounting Manager position will be responsible for account reconciliation, account analysis and financial reporting, along with supervising a staff accountant and a couple of accounting clerks. The Controller / Accounting Manager should have a minimum of 5+ years hands on senior accounting experience, along with supervisory experience.
 
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 5+ years of hands on general ledger, financial statement accounting experience, along with strong management and Microsoft Office skills. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.

SKILLS REQUIRED FOR CONTROLLER / ACCOUNTING MANAGER POSITION:

  • 5 + years senior accounting experience
  • Heavy general ledger and financial statement experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Strong management skills
  • Good communication and organizational skills
