Summary – Graphic Design– Exempt:

This position is for a web design intern. This internship will be an unpaid opportunity to learn. We are looking for recent graduates or current undergraduate students to do some web design work for Batanga Inc. We envision this to be a perfect opportunity for an ambitious student or recent graduate that wants to be part of the Batanga team.

Responsibilities - Graphic Design– Exempt:

• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
• Bring marketing and advertising ideas to life.
• Finalizing work assignments and managing deadlines.
• Assist graphic designer with the development of creative assignments and help insuring the quality of presented solutions in terms of both creative quality.
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material.
• Use computer software to generate new images.
• Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with sales rep or/and supervisors and making necessary changes.

Marginal Job Functions:

• Completion of PowerPoint presentations.

Required Skills - Non-Paid Internship:

• Professional appearance and creative attitude.
• MS Office experience, Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash.
• Basic knowledge of Mac.
• Online marketing and web design experience.
• Excellent written, verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask, attention to detail and good organizational skills.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• 2nd, 3rd, 4th year students or current graduate.
• Spanish and English required.
