Job Description


Medical Technician

Life Line Screening is the leading provider of community-based preventive health screenings in the United States.  Established in 1993, Life Line Screening has screened over 6 million people, and currently screens over 1 million people each year at thousands of screening events nationwide. Position: Medical Technician
  • Overnight trips (3 per month, all expenses paid)
    Travel Wages: $10.00/hr
The team (covering up to a 2 hour radius) meets every morning at the company van. The meeting time varies depending on which area the team will be traveling to for the day. All 5-6 team members drive together in the team van to the screening site, usually arriving on site by 8:30 am. All of the equipment is then set up at the facility (mobile ultrasound machines, privacy screens, etc) in preparation for the clients to arrive. The appointments are generally scheduled between 9:00 am - 4:00 pm., and the team then prepares to head home, back to the designated meeting location.

Responsibilities / Qualifications:

 

Perform ABI, Osteoporosis Risk Assessment, Afib and blood test screenings in accordance with the company’s protocols and in a proficient and timely manner.
• Ensure the quality of the screenings and service.
• Assist with the proper set up and break down of screening event and registration area.
• Assist with the registration process of participants, including up-selling new products and services.
• Double-check the result forms throughout the day to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare the end of day paperwork including the bank deposit.
• Prepare and submit an Order Supply Form to the Team Manager or Assistant Team Manager.
• Communicate as needed and directed with Team Manager and Assistant Team Manager.
• Participate in bi-monthly conference calls with Regional Manager and assigned Clinical Manager.
• Complete and submit personal time sheet to Team Manager.
• Perform and coordinate any other duties that are requested by the Team Manager, Assistant Team Manager, Home Office, General Manager or Clinical Manager.



Job Requirements

  • ·         Course completion in various medical programs – CNA, MA, EMT, etc.

    • Uniform – Scrubs (seal blue & white - any combination), white shoes
    • Daily travel to screening sites with Ultrasound team; reliable transportation
    • Will possess excellent customer service skills
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
