HOUSE KEEPER
Effectively clean and service assigned areas throughout Hospital in accordance with prescribed department policies and procedures. This position supports the Environmental Services Department in meeting the needs of customers by maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for patients, visitors and health care providers.
Accountabilities:
1. Maintains all assigned clinical, ancillary, departmental, and public areas in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner according to established Environmental Service guidelines and quality improvement standards.
2. Complies with hospital standards related to safety practices for self, patients and other health providers.
3. Demonstrates efficient and safe use of Environmental Services equipment and solutions
4. Demonstrates a commitment to exceeding customer expectations and quality improvement initiatives, as determined by annual department goals.
5. Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence, attendance, and dress code in accordance to hospital policy
DIETARY AIDE
The Dietary Aide prepares salads, desserts and nourishments for patient/staff cafeteria and catering functions. Serves on the cafeteria line and prepares meal trays. Maintains safety and sanitation of work area. Sanitizes flatware, glassware, china, pans and cooking utensils, cleans service and production area. Stocks food and supply items. Delivers nourishments and beverages for guests, staff and patients.
