Associate Marketing Manager - Club Stores

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Marketing Manager with new product development efforts by leading cross-functional teams through new product/package concept evaluation, proto-type creation, consumer testing, manufacturing feasibility, package development and design, financial analysis, and product launch.
  • Assist Marketing Manager in product line management functions including, but not limited to: product discontinuation/exit strategy, pricing and pro forma financial analysis, marketing research, package development, sales promotion material, product launch plans and execution. Evaluate customer complaints and recommend new features, products, and programs.
  • Evaluate competitive products and suggest features and enhancements for product lines to meet anticipated customer needs. Remain abreast of emerging technologies affecting company's product line.
  • Prioritize and direct Research and Development activity. Provide feedback and follow-up on proto-type development and continuous product improvement.
  • Interface with Manufacturing and Engineering on new product initiatives. Understand and apply basic machine capabilities to new or existing products. Coordinate with Purchasing, Demand Planning, and Scheduling on all new and existing product forecasts, ingredient, and packaging needs.
  • Provide input and direction to Marketing Services Team on new product selling, advertising and promotional materials.
  • Communicate and assist Sales with new product intros, discontinued product. Prepare technical information for catalogs, videos, and other product and promotional material.
  • Support Marketing Managers in development and application of consumer insight.
  • Assistsin development and execution of Annual Business Plans.
  • Support Marketing Manager in budget management, field sales support, and ongoing analysis and reporting of business results.
Requirements

Qualifications for Associate Marketing Manager - Club Stores

  

  • Bachelor's degree-preferably in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing along with three years related experience with a CPG company
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, IRI, AC Nielsen, or other syndicated data analysis - particularly related to Club Store marketing 
  • Excellent critical thinking, business analysis and decision making skills
  • Understanding of  the Retail industry, and above average business and product management skills
