Respiratory Therapist

All Medical has a need for Per diem  Registered and/or Certified Respiratory Therapist.

Position Summary: To have a sound knowledge and proficiency in the treatment of respiratory disorders for inpatients and outpatients with various types of media (i.e., oxygen and other therapeutic gases and mist inhalation equipment). Establishes a good rapport and professional relationship with staff and patients. Reports to the Respiratory Care Supervisor.

General Responsibilities: Proficient in the treatment of respiratory disorders for inpatients and outpatients with various types of media (i.e., oxygen and other therapeutic gases and mist inhalation equipment).
Thorough knowledge of both department and hospital policies and procedures relating to the field of Cardio-Pulmonary Sciences. Interpretive skills, frequent interactive and consultative association are inherent in this position.

*Critical Care and ICU exp. a plus but not mandatory

The ability to retrieve, communicate, or otherwise present information in a written, auditory or visual fashion is essential. The primary method to express or exchange ideas is by the spoken work.
Written, telephone and manual dexterity skills.

Schedule: Positions currently open are Per diem day evening and night shift . 

Graduate of a one-year AMA approved Respiratory Care Program.

A minimum of one-year post-graduate clinical experience in Respiratory Care procedures.

Licensed by the State of Florida Department of Professional Regulations   

Current CEU's required. Including BLS & ACLS A MUST
