Private family seeks full time Private Chef/ House Manager/ Housekeeper to be either live-in or live-out while the family is in Greenwich, CT and live-in for four months of the year (Jan-April) while the family is in Palm Beach, FL. The candidate(s) for this position can either be a single individual or a domestic couple. Responsibilities include: 
• Create fresh seasonal meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for a full time schedule
• Work with the family’s Personal Assistant to coordinate weekly menus
• Event production for social and religious gatherings, political fundraisers, and philanthropic events
• General maintenance and facilities (maintaing pool, tennis courts, and keeping home in guest-readiness condition at all times)
• Supervising and directing domestic staff, working with vendors/contractors/landscapers, etc
• General housekeeping (surface cleaning, care for fine art & antiques) and laundry (experience working with fine linens and other special-requirement materials)
• Mon-Fri work week (8:00am-8:00pm) with flexibility for over-time as needed

• Classical cooking background
• Min 5 years related experience working as a Chef within a private residence
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers
• Degree from an accredited culinary school appreciated
• Strong restaurant experience
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Valid passport; availability to travel with family as needed
• Must be OK with children and pets (no allergies)
• Experience with general maintenance, facilties, supervising domestic staff, managing household budget, working with contractors and vendors, etc
• Availability to live-in from January through April in Palm Beach with family (can be live-in or live-out while in Greenwich)
• Candidate(s) must be experienced in housekeeping and laundry services

Salary is generous and DOE.  This position also includes a full benefits package, and potential to earn discretionary annual bonus.
