Summary
State of the art 150+ bed facility has engaged the services of McCall & Lee for a Director of Pharmacy position. The ideal candidate shall combine management duties with clinical and staff activities in order to maximize appropriate, safe, and cost effective drug therapy within the hospital. The Director will manage Pharmacists and Pharmacy personnel and strategize with hospital administration on how to grow and run the department. This is a DAY SHIFT position with a growing facility. Candidate should demonstrate ability to lead a team. Must be able to use skills in all aspects of drug therapy, including procurement, dispensing, education, administration, monitoring and adjustment. We are looking for someone that desires to lead a growing team and have opportunities for professional growth.

Education / Licensure
BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D.
Current licensure by the State Board of Pharmacy as a registered Pharmacist

Requirements
2-5 years hospital experience is preferred, but new graduates and retail pharmacists will be considered on a case by case basis.
