Description

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a registered professional nurse who has the responsibility for assisting the manager in the direction of professional activities and patient care delivered in the unit on an assigned shift, through the process of assessment diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.  In addition, the ANM prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises and evaluates patient care and the activities of the ancillary nursing personnel while maintaining the standards of professional nursing.


 

Requirements

 

  • Current Florida licensure for Professional Nurse.
  • Previous RN experience in the Emergency Department required. 
  • Must have knowlege of managing ED patient flow.
  • Graduate from a school of nursing or equivalent.   Graduate of baccalaureate nursing program or working toward such, preferred.
  • Current BLS/ACLS/PALS required
