Description

 The Visiting Nurse Association located in Denver has an immediate full-time,  RN, Division Manager of Wellness,

Work Schedule: M-F, FT

 

Responsibilities: Community Wellness Division Manager is a exempt, management position responsible for the general supervision of the Community Wellness Division's clinical and business operations. 

  • Marketing  business contract requirements for Senior Wellness Clinics, Flu Clinics, Workplace Wellness Clinics and other community health programs.
  • Manages and markets community health and corporate programs, including developing new programs, identifying potential pay sources, leading marketing efforts to strategically grow division.
  • Works with program staff to ensure service and budgetary objectives are met.
  • Seeks to increase workplace wellness clinic business via third-party and direct relationships and community service grants via funder relationships.
  • Continuously strives to improve provision of safe, high quality patient care by evaluating and developing objectives, policies and procedures related to community and corporate health care programs.
  • Supports professional training and development of staff.
  • Ensures the skill level of caregivers is commensurate with the demands/competencies of the job assignment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an approved educational program preferred.
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration or Business Administration strongly preferred.
  • Current Colorado RN license and current CPR certification required.
  • Five years of nursing experience required. Previous home care/community health experience preferred.
  • Extensive management experience at senior level required with at least five years direct management experience required.
  • Spanish as a second language is preferred.
