Description
ECRI Institute, an independent non-profit organization that researches the best approaches to improving patient care, is seeking a Team Leader to manage and lead team of TARGET clinical writers in development of evidence reports on emerging technologies, develop training materials for clinical writers, and contribute to content.
The successful candidate will be working in a collaborative environment at our Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania facility. Therefore, freelance and remote options are not available for this position. Requirements
Master’s degree in biologic sciences or healthcare with at least 3-5 years' experience managing a team, and medical writing and peer review experience for topics on healthcare technology and services. Must have knowledge of the following: health technology assessment, concepts of evidence-based medicine, principles of good study design and interpretation of biostatistics, hospital/provider/payer/societal perspectives about healthcare technology and marketplace dynamics.
Additional requirements include: Excellent oral and communication skills, facility with peer review and professional presentations, ability to oversee and manage development of high-quality evidence reports, excellent analytic and writing skills, current awareness of important emerging medical technologies. Proven ability to lead and motivate writing team to achieve publication goals and deadlines for evidence reports. Will work with diverse body of research professionals.
