Description

Manage the daily clinical and administrative operations of Philadelphia Treatment Court, Philadelphia Community Court and directing offenders into treatment programs.

Reports to:  Director of Operations



RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Supervise Unit Supervisors and Clinical Coordinators at Philadelphia Treatment Court, Family Court, Community Court, Juvenile Treatment Court and DUI services.

·         Provide mentoring, leadership and team-building to all Specialty Court staff

·         Attend Oversight and Steering Committee meetings as scheduled

·         Participate in Specialty Court trainings, conferences and meetings as appropriate

·         Supervise Specialty Court Office Manager and provide direction to assure efficiency and coordination between all specialty courts and with FIR Office Manager.

·         Facilitate collaboration and cross-training between the Specialty Court Programs

·         Create reports for the courts and CODAAP as requested; identify trends in client treatment

·         Assure proper use of all related databases

·         Maintain effective relationships with treatment funding sources

·         Maintain effective relationships with all treatment programs

·         Maintain effective relationships with all Specialty Court criminal justice staff

·         Facilitate positive working relations with Court Staff and participate in planning meetings.

·         Facilitate positive working relations with CBH/BHSI and respond to requests as needed.

·         Related duties as assigned

·         Must be able to travel locally (walking and accessing public transportation or car)

Requirements

SKILLS:

·         Working knowledge of DSM-IV and co-morbidity

·         Working knowledge of forensic population

·         Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills

·         Working knowledge of the Criminal Justice Systems

·         Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and team-building abilities

 

EXPERIENCE:

·         Minimum 3 years recent supervisory experience.

·         Five years experience in substance abuse field as Clinical Supervisor, Family Therapist or Evaluator. 

·         Experience with mental health and co-morbidity

·         Minimum 4 years experience in criminal justice system

·         Working knowledge of criminal justice agencies and processes required

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

·         Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s in process preferred.

·         Must be PCPC certified
