Community Choice, Inc., is currently hiring Direct Care Professionals and Youth Care Staff to support people with developmental disabilities and at-risk youth throughout the greater Kansas City area. We are looking for caring individuals to work as teaching assistants to support individuals in their homes to live full and productive lives in the community, and work with youth in habilitation programs.  If you have either personal or work related experience in one of the following areas, or simply would like more information about this type of work, please apply with us:

  • Home Health Aide
  • Personal Care Attendant
  • Caregiver
  • Youth Care
  • Certified Nursing Assistant

    Requirements
    1. High School Diploma or GED
    2. Must have a high level of patience, motivation and flexibility to work in the field of Developmental Disabilities
    3. Reliable transportation
    4. Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage
    5. Requires planning and organizational skills
    6. Professional communication and basic writing skills
    7. Experience in human services or related areas is a plus
    8. CPR, First-Aid, Med level 1 and CPI or Mandt certifications are a huge plus! (Will be provided if you do not have)
