Accountant/Account Manager - Captive Management - Marsh - Honolu

We are seeking an Account Manager / Accountant in our Captive Management Group. 
 

 
The Account Manager is the main client contact. The AM is responsible for the day to day management of a portfolio of clients, the number of which will vary depending on the complexity and size of the companies' programs and the clients' information requirements.  The account executive and account manager work very closely together and if either should be absent from the office the level of service received by the client should not be affected.
 
Essential Functions

 

• Maintenance of all financial records.           
• Preparation of periodic financial statements.   
• Monitoring of premium cash flow to maximize investment income.    
• Management of local and overseas bank accounts.
• Collection of premium receivable.            
• Payment of claims based on claim guidelines.
• Payment of general and administrative expenses.
• Preparation and completion of annual audit
• Maintaining client documents, either hardcopy or computer stored,  under standard filing systems

 

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• Experience in the Captives industry strongly desired.
• 5 - 7 Years experience required.
• Insurance background preferred but not necessary.
• Detailed oriented.
• Multi-tasker.
• Fluency in Japanese a plus
