Description SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE:

Our service representatives are licensed insurance professionals, trained to delight our customers by providing the kind of personal attention and outstanding customer service they have come to expect. When a customer calls or emails us for help with a policy, our associates are there ready to assist them.

Through our comprehensive, on-site training we'll teach you about our dynamic industry, and insurance policies and regulations, preparing you to assist our customers with their auto policies. Training is fully paid and in states that require a license we will sponsor you for your Insurance License!

As a Service Representative, you will:
* Resolve customer inquires, explain insurance coverage and make changes to policies
* Receive up to 50-60 inbound telephone calls per day in a call center environment
* Work with the customer to ensure they are properly insured
* Take calls and handle each request to ensure customers are satisfied on the first call
* Sell additional insurance products to fill gaps on our customer's policy
* Navigate our internal computer system to look up customer information and update policies
* Do whatever it takes to delight our customers

Our customer service call center is open Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. We staff various shifts within these hours and ask our associates to be flexible.

SALES REPRESENTATIVE:
Are you a motivated person looking for a fast-paced career with high earning potential? Would you love to start a sales career without the hassle of cold calling? We're looking for professional, friendly and career-oriented candidates who are interested in a career with an industry-leading insurance company.

After completing our paid training and licensing program, you'll need to sit for and pass your state licensing exam to sell insurance. From there, you'll be ready to deliver outstanding GEICO customer service, sell our exceptional line of insurance products, achieve sales goals, and even earn bonuses.

You will receive fully paid training and we will sponsor you for your Insurance License!

As a Sales Representative, you will:
* Handle an average of 15-25 inbound sales calls per day in a call center environment
* Be an expert on GEICO products and benefits and use that expertise to close sales
* Gather information from prospective policyholders
* Help our customers select the insurance policy that's best for them
* Identify customer's needs and answer all of their questions
* Prepare high-quality rate quotes and close the sale
* Provide solutions that help make it easy for customers to buy a GEICO policy
* Empathize with the customer and overcome objections
* Follow-up with interested or eligible customers who did not buy on their first contact
* Provide guidance on additional product lines that best protect our customers

Our sales call center is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. We staff various shifts within these hours and ask our associates to be flexible.
Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
* Prior customer service experience
* Demonstrated job stability
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent computer and multi-tasking skills
* High level of dependability
* Ability to gather information and make decisions
* Must be comfortable working in a call center environment
