Full-Time Content Writer & Social Media Position

Protect America, Inc. is searching for a bright energetic person with a background in journalism and/or web content development & social media to join our growing online marketing team as a full-time Content Writer in Round Rock, TX.  The Content Writer will be responsible for writing content for our various web properties and other marketing collateral as well as implementing an aggressive social media campaign on social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, etc. The Content Writer will be required to effectively and creatively write and develop keyword relevant web content, articles, blogs, press releases, and other communications.  The Content Writer will also monitor the online reputation of Protect America, Inc. especially on social media platforms to identify and engage customers.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing keyword relevant web content for various websites
• Updating, & monitoring social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, & Myspace, etc.
• Approving comments, testimonials, and feedbacks submitted by customers
• Writing and posting monthly e-newsletter

Job Requirements:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, advanced PC skills in a range of online applications and social media networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, etc), having a broad social network is a plus
• Excellent time management skills along with strong written & verbal communication skills to include creative & professional writing with SEO knowledge and/or blogging experience being a plus
• Advanced online user that is familiar with online advertising/marketing, search engine marketing, and social media
• Minimum 2 year degree from an accredited University or comparable Industry certifications/training preferred

This position is available immediately and will be a full-time, M-F position with salary & benefits. Competitive salary based on experience.  No contractors.
