Description Could you possibly be interested in raising funds for the world's largest Christian ministry to prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families?  Do you think you would want to play a significant role in enabling the transformation of prisoners through various in-prison and re-entry programs?  Do you think you would want to hugely impact the children of prisoners through many programs offered by this organization that help them to cope during the absence of a parent or parents? 

If so, Prison Fellowship (www.pfm.org) is currently seeking candidates for Director of Advancement for the Mid-South which includes the States of North and South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia, Tennessee and Kentucky.  The Director of Advancement is a key position charged with strengthening and deepening relationships with major donors; implementing national campaign strategies and initiatives in the region and identifying, cultivating and developing new major donors including individuals, foundations and corporations.    
Requirements Qualified candidates will have ...

. A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of coursework and/or experience;

. A minimum of 5 years of fund raising or consultative sales experience with increasing responsibility to increase revenue;

. Excellent relationship building skills;  a caring, warm and gracious personality; 

. Exemplary organizational skills;

. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;

. Excellent presentation and writing skills;

. Verifiable financial management skills;
 
. Extensive experience using a customer relationship management (CRM) database;

. The ability to travel at least 30 - 40% in the region, and

. The capacity to work from a home office.

Candidates from the Charlotte, North Carolina area are preferred but others in the region including the Triangle area of North Carolina, Richmond, Virginia and Nashville, Tennessee will be strongly considered.
