Description Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant #71-81905; $2751/mo; Lincoln, Nebraska.  Hours:  8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.  Temporary full time position up to 30 months with full benefits.  This position will be responsible to administer the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program for cities and counties.  This is an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funded program. Will coordinates the competitive selection process to award EECBG grants.  Develop criteria for scoring applications for the EECBG funds; negotiates aid agreements with cities and counties selected for grant awards; collects sub-recipient reports and reviews reimbursement requests; monitors projects and financial assistance awards; prepare quarterly and annual reports for the U.S. Department of Energy; provides technical assistance to grant recipients; will supervise a staff  assistant.
Requirements Person will need energy efficiency and conservation experience; renewable and biomass energy experience; building construction management experience and supervisory experience.  Person should have three years of experience in these areas. Prefer a Bachelors degree in business management, energy studies or closely related field.  Person must be able to travel in and out of state.  Valid driver's license or able to provide independent authorized transportation.  Must have a good driving record.  CLOSING DATE:  11/13/09.
