Apartment Community Manager: Largo, FL

We currently have an outstanding opportunity available for Community Manager at our Silver Palms apartment community in Largo, FL (74 units). As the Community Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day to day and long range management of the property. This will be accomplished by utilizing leadership skills to mentor and motivate team members to ensure resident satisfaction and positive employee relations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to setting and achieving short and long term goals; creating, implementing and monitoring annual budgets; building relationships with all customers (internal and external); interviewing, hiring and developing team members; marketing the property; and fostering our company culture.

Qualified applicants must have 2+ years of property management experience; the ability to build strong relationships with vendors; a passion for our residents (both prospective and existing); the ability to control financials and budgets; marketing knowledge; strong decision making abilities; the ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task; a thorough understanding of fair housing; strong initiative and follow-through; the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment; and have proven leadership skills. In addition, we are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail, excellent communication (both oral and written), superb customer service skills, a strong collections record, and proficiency in software and computer applications. An understanding of maintenance is a plus. Drug testing and criminal background checks will be utilized as a condition of employment.
