Are you a highly motivated, goal oriented sales professional? The San Antonio, TX branch is seeking a Service & Repair Sales Representative to be responsible for the profitable sales of service contracts on a full line of vertical transportation equipment manufactured by TKE and its competitors. Job responsibilities include: Prospect existing and inactive accounts and solicit new accounts to generate profitable, sustainable business. Team with the Operations department on project management activities including surveying, estimating, purchasing, invoicing, job status meetings, and to ensure quality product turnover. Coordinate with branch personnel, regional and corporate entities and related vendors to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. Evaluate contractual conditions, technical specifications, and architectural drawings to prepare detailed project proposals. Present proposals to developers, consultants and building owners. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.

External candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria to be considered: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; prefer an emphasis in Sales, Business and/or Marketing; ORFour years of military service with an Honorable Discharge; ORFour years of professional sales experience, preferably in a construction-related industry; ORBe a card-carrying Mechanic with sales aptitude Current employees who do not meet one of the minimum requirements listed above may also be considered for interview if they:Have completed college coursework equivalent to an Associates Degree in a business-related field ANDa) Possess at least 2 years ThyssenKrupp Elevator sales support experience ORb) Possess at least 5 years other ThyssenKrupp Elevator experience The successful candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, consultants, building management and owners; good mechanical aptitude; demonstration of excellent customer service, project management and sales lead generation skills; strong written and oral communication skills; and good PC skills including MSOffice.
