Act as the main liaison between the Finance group and the Information Technology group to drive from strategy to execution Finance related information technology initiatives. Responsible for the monthly processing associated with the Oracle modules. Responsible for leading the documentation efforts associated with Standard Operating Procedures.
Description of Duties:
Partner with members from the Finance to understand the user requirements and issues and translate them to the IT group to develop a best fit solution while maintain the integrity of existing applications. Proposals will focus on effective and efficient processes and solutions.
>Key finance member on a cross functional team related to the international expansion
efforts focusing on the Finance/IT aspect of it.
>Performs Monthly Oracle Administrative Functions including: Transferring of journals for A/R, A/P Intercompany and Expense related transactions from individual modules into the Oracle Financials Module.
>Develop, test and run reports out of Oracle that substantiate transaction processing related
to the Daily and Month end Close processes.
>Assist in the SOP technical documentation efforts.
>Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
>BS/BA in accounting/finance and or information technology is required.
>5-7 years of relevant working experience in supporting ERP systems from a technical and
financial side.
>CPA or MBA a plus.
>Working knowledge of PC based accounting systems
>Strong Oracle background required, especially versions 11.0 and 11.52
