Job Description 

ProLogic, is seeking a highly motivated, well-qualified Senior Software Engineer to work as part of one or more small project teams. Candidates should possess a BS in Computer Science or related field, with six or more years of hands on software development experience.

Experience with DSP applications and RTOS development is a big plus.

Responsibilities:
Requirements Analysis - Analyze requirements and identifies Configuration Item and lower-level hardware/software component requirements.
Software Design - Define product and subcomponent architectures, and document and present preliminary and detailed design descriptions.
Software Development - Develop desktop applications, GUI interfaces, and server side applications and system services in structured high-level languages (C#, C++, and/or Java).
Testing - Define unit tests, and test plans/procedures.
Integration - Package software components for integration with system hardware.

    Job Requirements 

    Candidates should have experience as a technical team lead; assigning technical tasks to members of small teams, reporting task progress using written and oral communications, mentoring junior engineers, and estimating personal and team effort for assigned tasks.

    Tools:

    • Candidates should have experience with MS Visual Studio, Eclipse, JBuilder or similar IDE; and have experience with SVN or similar revision control system.

      Travel:

    • Occasional travel for short durations is required.

       

      Preferred Education:

    • BS in Computer Science or closely related field.

       

      Special Requirements:

    • This position REQUIRES US CITIZENSHIP.
    • Candidate must possess current active FINAL Top Secret/SCI clearance. LS/CI Poly a plus.
