Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA, is a 431 bed acute care
facility, providing high-quality premier healthcare in the San Fernando Valley
for over 50 years.
We currently have a Part-Time Registered Nurse position for the Emergency
Department. Hours: Evenings.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The professional nurse applies the nursing process to develop and execute an
age-appropriate plan of care for assigned patients by coordinating the
interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Minimum Experience:
Sufficient previous clinical experience in an acute care setting
Required Certification/Training:
BLS for Healthcare Providers sponsored by the American Heart Association. (NOTE:
If employee/applicant has certification by the American Red Cross-CPR/AED for
the Professional Rescuer, this will be accepted until card expiration date);
ACLS. PALS required within 180 days of hire/transfer. New graduate nurses in ED
must complete this requirement within 1 year of hire date.
Required License:
Current California Licensed Registered Nurse
Required Training:
MOAB I/II required within 30 to 150 days of hire.
