Job Description:
EG&G has been a leading provider of technical services to the U.S. Government for over 50 years. We are currently seeking a system Engineer to support Air Force Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) acquisition programs at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. ASC program offices are responsible for development, production and life cycle sustainment of new aircraft, modifications, and integrated weapon systems. The engineer will provide assistance in supporting the development of DMS acquisition strategy; oversight of prime contractor preparation/execution of major milestone events(SRR, PDR, etc.); and support in preparation of briefings and documents.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2-5 years experience associated with Department of Defense weapon system acquisition. Knowledge of communication systems, data linking and avionics research and development is a plus.Position requires a minimum of a DoD SECRET Security Clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.
