Application Software Support Specialist Summary:

PCSS, Inc. is seeking Qualified candidates for the Following position in its Ft.Worth TX. Or Greenville, SC office: Application Software Support Specialist

Responsibilities of Application Software Support Specialist Includes:

  • The Application Software Support Specialist is responsible for effectively assisting the PCSS Customer Community with all application systems support issues within a solutions oriented team.
  • This position is also responsible for ensuring adequate QA testing of system bugs or new product development prior to releasing to the customers.


As an Application Software Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Using OnTime help desk management system to log, track and escalate incidents.
  • Working as part of a team to respond to the Customer help desk incident queue, and resolving, routing, delegating or escalating each issue as appropriate.
  • Provide first line troubleshooting and support for the customers by responding to incoming calls and emails.
  • Q&A Testing of current and future releases of our products
  • Application Software Training

Requirements for Application Software Support Specialist :

A qualified candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Proven track record of supporting remote users efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple high impact projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of Project Management Concepts
  • Thorough knowledge of personal computer system hardware and related business software including but not limited to Windows NT, 2000
  • And XP operating systems, Office productivity tools, and utilities
  • Crystal Reports Knowledge a Plus
  • Court Experience a plus!
  • MS SQL Server And/or AS400 Knowledge Preferred
  • Available to Travel (Domestic and International) up to 25% of the time.
