WCI is looking to hire a Program Director to lead our Life Skills Day Habilitation Program for adults with developmental disabilities in Waltham, MA. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

Specific responsibilities include:
 

  • managing the day-to-day activities of the program; reporting to the Office for Long Term Care, Mass Health, and other involved agencies; monitoring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing the program; and implementing the program’s policies and procedures.
  • The successful candidate will oversee ongoing in-service training and re-training as needed; manage and coordinate the ISP and DHSP meetings including Individual Consumer input to ensure quality goals and outcomes for each Individual; promote a professional atmosphere, healthy environment and positive relationships with all parties; monitor and/or supervise all WCI administrative duties relating to the Day Habilitation and CBDS Programs; develop and ensure a viable and vibrant curriculum to maximize treatment potential; train staff in the curriculum; successful program evaluation: CARF, QUEST; promote and develop relationships with all parties: Family, DDS, Community; build a customer-focused culture that responds to the needs, desires and expectations of the Individuals, families, MassHealth and DDS; develop and submit Monthly Report, Quarterly Management Report and Annual Management Report to the Division Head; actively participate in Supervision meetings as may be required; and any other job responsibility assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
  • This position requires a minimum of three years experience in day habilitation services for adults with developmental disabilities, including at least one year of management experience.
  • Must have strong clinical, communication (verbal and written), and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant human services field. 
  • Master’s degree preferred. CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • MAP desired. A commitment to the field; dependable and eager to make a difference.
