You must have strong UI skills (html, css, javascript and jQuery), expertise in the design and implementation of PHP/Python web applications in a LAMP environment and have good knowledge of XML and XMLHttpRequest. Strong knowledge of the Linux operating system is a requirement, as well as, excellent knowledge of unit testing, configuration management and build and deployment methodologies. Your knowledge of the open source community and your ability to leverage existing frameworks in Python and PHP would be an advantage.

  

Qualifications:

Required:

• 4 plus years experience working on teams focused on web application development

• 4+ years experience working on teams focused on web application development

• PHP

• Python

• HTML, Javascript, CSS

• jQuery

• XML, XSLT

• SQL

• OOP/OOAD

• UML

• SCM

• Linux • Continuous integration/build automation

  

Preferred:

• SCM with Subversion

• Wiki requirements/ticketing/management with Trac

• Advanced MySQL experience
