Sr. Financial Analyst
Work within a Controllership team that is a part of the Finance group supporting this company's world-wide business. Using your analytic and financial skills, you will be a key contributor in bringing this group to the partnership table enabling a new level of business excellence. This role will provide a wide range of financial services including executing the core financial processes of close, forecast, target, & budget, financial planning, financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong hands-on approach, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to partner with internal customers, demonstrated expertise in the area of executing processes and the ability to work and think independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute Financial planning activities

Forecast process including analysis, template creation, data load, consolidations & related
- Target setting analysis & support of process owner
- Budget planning & development process including analysis, template creation, data load, consolidations & related
- Execute budget restatements, reorganizations
- P&L structure, hierarchy changes
- Complete Financial Reporting
- Weekly, monthly and quarterly management reporting package
- New reporting to capture spending by project
- Variance analysis
- Ad hoc reporting
- Execute Monthly Close
- Accruals
- Re-classes
- Variance Analysis
- Work with business management to solve day to day financial questions & issues
Job summary:
The role centers around 4 core financial processes of Close (monthly), forecast (quarterly), target (annually Jan-Mar) and budget (Mar-Jun). There is also day to day support of the business teams. Daily duties depend on what process we are preparing to execute (close, forecast, target, budget). Additionally, we receive quite a few ad hoc requests.

- Minimum 3-5 years of Finance/Accounting experience
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
- Excel is a must including pivot tables.
- This is a volume position processing budget restatements/reorgs, JEs, IOs, reporting answering questions.
- General accounting, ability to research questions, variance analysis, ability to create simple financial tables.
Other/Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA preferred
- Financial reporting and analysis experience
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Demonstrated experiences executing financial processes
- Strong communication, cross group collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
