Controller - Pharma Manufacturing - Metro Boston - to $130k

Compensation:  $100,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year

Global life sciences / pharma company that is successfully in commercial production has manufacturing operations here in Metro Boston needs a Controller to provide leadership for the manufacturing finance and operations for the manufacturing segment. This role will provide financial, analytical and planning guidance to the ops team and facility. Participating in the performance, forecasting, planning for short/long term, budget and cost reduction, etc. A strong manufacturing and cost background is desired. Pharma / Life Sciences is preferred.

This is a highly visible role with the expected movement from this role on to other roles within the organization within 18-24 months. Hence, the successful candidate will be both qualified for this role as well as motivated to take on future challenges locally within this world class finance function.

 RequirementsRequires 8+ years of solid financial experience within a manufacturing environment with a focus on cost, planning and interfacing with the manufacturing operations teams. Ability to communicate effectively with non-finance ops teams is a must. Advanced ERP skills are helpful. SAP is preferred. Manufacturing systems specialties also helpful.
