McGladrey is looking for an International Tax (ITAX) Manager to join our expanding International Tax Group in Dallas. We have been experiencing solid growth throughout the region and need a strong manager to help move us forward from a technical and staff mentorship perspective.

Responsibilities:

- Managing and driving the success of multiple engagements.
- Keeping lines of communication open with staff and clients.
- Ability to manage within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high-level of client satisfaction.
- Anticipating and addressing client concerns and escalating problems as they arise.
- Developing an understanding of client needs and becoming a 'functional expert' in the area.
- Keeping abreast of changes in industry regulation, maintain competency through continuing education and obtaining additional professional certifications
- Providing appropriate and timely performance feedback to those supervised

 Requirements

- Minimum of five years experience providing tax consulting services, including experience with ITAX services in a public accounting or tax consulting firm.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or closely related field
- Experience selling professional services in a public accounting or tax consulting firm.
- Established record of building profitable, sustainable client relationships with small- to mid-sized, growing businesses.
- A proven record of simultaneously managing multiple projects and engagement teams for various clients.

Preferred Qualifications

- Ability to travel on a limited basis
- Masters of Taxation, MBA, CPA or JD
