Hours :  7am - 11pm

  • The Medical Assistant assists the physicians and clinical staff with patient care and laboratory activities. Responsibilities include preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, performing urine dipstick, collecting Chain of Custody urine samples, performing on-site lab testing for required samples, as well as conducting audiometry, vision testing, EKG, and phlebotomy.

 Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Two years of patient care and/or laboratory experience, preferably in an outpatient occupational medical setting.

Knowledge of personal computers and data entry.

Certified Medical Assistant (or eligible for certification), certified EMT, certified nursing assistant, or equivalent.
