This position will design, develop and test software applications for digital video solutions. The Sr. Software Engineer participates in all phases of software application development and product deployment.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

Designing, modifying, developing, writing, implementing software programming applications and unit testing
-
Participates & leads in requirements definition and use-case analysis
-
Provides input into application architecture and deployment design
-
Conducts code review and troubleshooting analyses for test and implementation
-
Partner with SQA team to ensure that development testing, version management and documentation is completed accurately
Minimum Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience
-
Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a software developer using Visual Studio, OOP development, and C/C++ in a Windows multi-threaded application environment
-
Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and timeframes
-
Experience leading and managing small technical teams
-
Thorough understanding of current trends and advances in software development standards
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred Requirements:

Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

JavaScript/HTML/CSS
-
MFC Development
-
SQL , SQL Server or DB Administration in general

Knowledge/Experience in Video Encoding/Decoding and Rendering

Experience in developing large scale distributed applications

Working knowledge of .NET

Direct Show / Video experience
