Provide service support in developing physician referrals and business referrals for support of existing and new services. Provides macro analysis regarding business development opportunities, trends, and focus for the hospital. Assist with metrics management and assessment for strategic service introduction and changes based on market trends and opportunities including local market share comparisons and other competitor analyses. Responsible for developing new business initiatives, assessing new markets, and analyzing business opportunities. Identify potential business partners and initiate proposals. Responsible for physician relations activities, referral development, tracking outcomes, outreach to office managers, and identify opportunities to collaborate with physician groups.
Provide support to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in the oversight of key defined initiatives and service lines. Assist in all aspects of follow up, on behalf of the CMO, regarding contract physicians and physician services. Assist CMO in identifying and implementing growth strategies relating to physician referral development.
III. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Experience: At least three years in physician services,marketing, operations and/or business research and development.
B. Education and Training: MBA or MHA preferred. Bachelors degree with emphasis in business, public relations or related field.
C. License Certification and Registration: None
D. Other Requirements: Thorough knowledge of hospital operations. Excellent customer service, organizational, written/verbal communication and analytical skills. Innovative self-starter. Ability to be flexible and perform consistently under pressure with confidence and unquestionable integrity.
