Job Summary:
Information Technology professional who participates in driving business process change and who work with little or no supervision to develop, test, implement and document business software applications. This includes integration of package and custom applications across all systems for the Retail, Products and Billiards locations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Preliminary and conceptual design work associated with IT application projects. This includes the analysis and definition of high-level business requirements, definition of required systems, high-level design, and task planning. Effectively communicates business and technical knowledge.
Detail design for system application changes, interfaces, conversions, and reports and supporting documentation. Design standards are to adhere to standard project management methodologies. Manages individual work priorities.
Programming or configuring application
changes, enhancements, interfaces, and conversions to information systems. This responsibility includes reading technical design specifications supplied by more senior analysts and programming instructions as required. May mentor other team members.
Adherence to unit testing procedures. This includes identification of decision branches, writing test conditions, expected results, and documenting actual results as required. This task also ensures that computerized systems function as designed.
System and string testing throughout and across applications to provide quality assurance to all application projects. This includes quality and planned execution of system testing conditions, expected results, and the documentation of actual test results.
Front-line applications support for all software applications, interfaces, and supporting technical systems. This includes troubleshooting all programming issues and supporting end users. This also includes participating on the 24X7 computer support on-call rotation.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Experience:
1-3 years experience as a Application Systems Analyst or equivalent. Business experience preferred. Proficient in written, verbal and presentation skills. High performance/high morale team culture.
Education Level:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related discipline or comparable work experience.
Specific Technical skill requirements:
• Experience with ASP.NET required
• Strong MS SQL skills
• Some MS SQL Server maintenance skills
• Familiarity with Sharepoint preferred
