 Description Provide leadership to develop and maintain a formalized and documented mechanical integrity (MI) program for Stepan that leads to improves safety, reduced manufacturing costs, improve equipment reliability and improved process output and quality. Develop strategic and tactical plans and ensure that the direction of this group is line with the site's strategic and tactical plans. Identify and implement MI best practices. Manage the MI staff and develop a budget for all MI activities. Manage the planning and coordination of the sites MI predictive and preventative maintenance activities. Ensure that all MI Group practices and procedures comply with OSHA, PSM/RMP and ISO 9000. Coordinate the scheduling of the MI inspections with Operations, Maintenance Planners, outside services and MI Group inspectors. Provide technical support to maintain, troubleshoot and repair fixed and rotating equipment assets. Contribute to the asset information in the plant asset repair history files and CMMS. Manages RCFA studies on equipment failures to increase the mean time between failure (MTBF) of assets and to reduce life cycle costs. Work closely with the Process Safety Engineer to manage risk at the site. ~cb~
 RequirementsAt least 5 years plant maintenance experience with fixed and rotating equipment. Employment is contingent upon passing a physical, fitness for duty test, drug test, and background check. ~cb~
