 Description A leading manufacturer and innovator of components in the global automation market is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team in West Houston.  In this role, the engineer will ensure the proper design, installation, modification, and maintainability of new & exisiting components based on client specifications with a solid focus on safety and quality.

 Requirements

Requirements:

    • Ability to understand manufacturing equipment processes, including solids material handling
    • Computerized layout, spreadsheet and database management.
    • Ability to understand capital estimating
    • Equipment design experience
    • BS in Mechanical Engineering required
    • Minimum (2) two years experience working with multidisciplinary Engineering associates to achieve and exceed client specifications
    • Requires strong communication, analytical and planning skills
    • Troubleshoot and correct mechanical problems
    • Project management capabilities and ability to interface with customers
    • Model safe behaviors in all activities
