Director of Accounting

 

Thor is currently assisting a client in finding a Director of Accounting for a large Healthcare System on the East Coast.  Skiing, golfing, bustling nightlife, easy afternoons exploring beaches and mountains or history, this location has something for everyone to enjoy!


Overview:

  • Provide primary oversight, supervision, strategic direction to System Accounting Department.
  • 3-4 Managers as direct reports; total of 15 FTEs.
  • Formulate policies and procedures.
  • Reports to System Vice President of Accounting.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience with computerized accounting systems.
  • Experience in Hospital Accounting.
  • Masters or CPA required; BA in related field.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort level in "C" Suite.
