Major coproration located in Central New Jersey is looking for a receptionist/ administrative assistant. The main function of the position is to provide reception, administrative and customer service support.
Primary functions can include:
- Performs general administrative duties including typing, copying and filing correspondences, memos, letters, etc.
- Organizes, prioritizes and sorts large volumes of incoming correspondences, including faxes and email.
- Trace and track customer freight, prepare rates, provide quotes, take pick-up requests, route and book freight as needed.
- Notify customers of any delays in shipping and dispatching points.
- Designs, organizes and maintains specialized and custom forms, records, reports and files.
- Works independently and in team settings on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
- The position will have a diversified workload. The Administrative will serve to aid the Vice President of the Company in a fast-paced office environment.
