POSITION TITLE: Nutrition Host/Hostess

HOURS: Part Time
All days 5:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Holidays and Weekend Rotation
PAY RANGE: Min. $7.25 Max $12.50 per Hour
I. POSITION SUMMARY:
ALWAYS Living the CARES COMMITMENT every hour and every day at WEST BOCA MEDICAL CENTER it is the SODEXO WAY
Assembles and delivers patient meal trays. Takes meal orders from patients and provides superior customer service. Clears trays from patient rooms. Makes sure tray line station is ready for tray assembly with silverware, cold prep items, etc. Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all Sodexo rules and procedures. Understands HACCP, food safety and hand washing procedures. Serves food on trayline, knowing special diet restrictions. Light foodservice production duties and stocking.
II. ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Solves customer problems, treats customer with dignity and respect, acknowledges customer and responds quickly to customer needs.
B. Ethics and Compliance
Conduct demonstrates compliance with and reporting of suspected violations of all relevant laws, regulations, Compliance Policies and Procedures, and the CODE OF CONDUCT.
C. Age-Related Competencies
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served, including knowledge of the principles of growth and development and psychosocial characteristics and interventions for all ages of lifespan.
Demonstrates the ability to assess and interpret age appropriate data about the patient’s status in order to identify age-specific needs and provide the care needed.
D. Knowledge of therapeutic diets, problem solving skills, HIPPA, food safety, HACCP, phone etiquette, and professionalism.
E. Participates in customer service training and CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm & Service) behaviors.
III. ADDITIONAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have flexible Schedule, Works weekends and Holiday
Education: high school or GED
Experience: 1 – 2 YEARS
Knowledge and Skills: Excellent Customer Service
