 Description

The Baltimore School of Massage is seeking full time / part time massage instructors for the Baltimore (Linthicum) Campus.

The Instructor is expected to:

 

  • Effectively teach a content rich lecture in a well managed classroom
  • Create community in the classroom that supports the personal growth and professional development of the student
  • Use time outside the classroom to support students, especially those most
    in need
  • Provide feedback to support continuing curriculum development
 Requirements
  • Be a licensed massage therapist with 3 yrs experience
  • Able to communicate effectively with students, staff, faculty, and other large groups
  • Able to create and manage a community in the classroom.
  • Highly personable, sensitive, and caring
  • Professional in appearance and presentation
  • Possess excellent body mechanics and posture

 

    Minimum experience required:  Have been engaged in the practice of massage therapy for at least three years as a licensed massage therapist and have conducted a minimum of 500 hours of hands-on experience
