Final Policies Specialist

Job Description

The Final Policies Specialist prepares policies based on the volume of loans, as well as researching them. In addition, they’ll assist other teams in the process and learn company-specific software.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing/typing various types of policies based on the volume of recently closed loans
  • Researching and recording data on various county websites
  • Reviewing client executed documents as well as additional documentation and comments to insure each transaction meets guidelines and regulations
  • Sending final policies to lenders, clients, underwriters or agents
  • Tracking files that have been delayed and following up to resolve any issues
  • Willingness to cross train and assist with other teams and learn new software

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Basic title insurance knowledge preferred but not necessary. Knowledge will be expanded through cross-training and continued exposure
  • Flexible to work 50 to 55 hours a week including evening shifts and weekends
  • Experience in an office/corporate environment with knowledge of basic office equipment (phone, fax, and copy machine)
  • Ability to learn new company-specific software programs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experience researching client issues and finding solutions
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to multitask and organize large workloads
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to compose professional emails to internal and external clients
  • Ability to work well within a team to strive for a common goal
  • Ability to type 35 to 40 words per minute preferred
