We are currently searching for Mental Health Specialist II to join our established team. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to provide direct care to patients with psychiatric disorders, ensuring the safety and well being of patients and supporting the maintenance of therapeutic milieu. This person should have experience and special training in various areas of mental health service delivery (i.e. group therapy, milieu management, diagnostic based training, grief and loss, etc.)
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, human
services or related field preferred; or 4 years of experience in a
mental health role; or combination of education and experience
totaling a minimum of 4 years is required.The ideal candidate must
have good verbal and written communication skills, legible
handwriting, and the ability to maintain information as highly
confidential. Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology
is preferred.
