Supervisor, Intake Department

Weekends: Friday, Saturday, Sunday

A weekend Intake Referral Center Supervisor at MedStar Visiting Nurse Association knows they make a positive difference in people's lives. They support intake staff in processing referrals and reviews referrals for accuracy of data entry and scheduled services.

Position Details:

* Responsible for supervising intake staff on the weekends
* Supervises the referral process
* Supports intake staff in processing referrals/reviews referrals for accuracy
* Supports/monitors staff for productivity, skills development and quality of work
* Fosters an environment of teamwork
* Maintains positive internal and external customer relations.

Job Requirements



* Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* 2 years home care experience
* 1 year management experience
* Acute care experience preferred
* Valid RN license in Maryland
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to communicate with patience, their relatives, and physicians
* Ability to manage under pressure and create a positive environment with difficult associates.
