Princeton Information is seeking a Senior Enterprise Systems Monitoring Engineer to work in Fishers, IA. The consultant will work on a small team responsible for the management and monitoring of the company's enterprise systems, infrastructure and applications.
The candidate must be a senior engineer with strong experience implementing and supporting HP Operations Manager for Windows and developing monitoring policies and solutions to address the business needs.
Senior level experience with HP Operations Manager for Windows (OMW) or Linux (OML) and product SPIs required (also referred to as HP OpenView).
Ability to maintain/upgrade HP OMW (OpenView) and BSM family of products and SPIs
Senior level experience implementing and supporting Enterprise Monitoring Solutions (HP OMW/L, IBM Tivoli, CA Unicenter/Spectrum, MS System Center Operations w/UNIX knowledge)
Experience integrating monitoring solutions with help desk ticketing system.
Strong knowledge of multiple IT areas (e.g., Database, Networks, Middleware, Mainframe, Development, etc.).
4+ Experience with Windows (2003 and 2008) and UNIX operating Systems.
24/7 oncall responsibilities on a team rotation.
Strong experience with scripting (shell, PERL, PowerShell, Python, Batch, etc.).
Ability to architect solutions to help detect and address problems to reduce mean time to restore service.
Other desired skills:
Experience with HP Performance Manager (PM).
Experience with other Enterprise Management and Monitoring Tools.
Experience with HP Server Automation and Network Automation a plus.
Experience with other HP monitoring and management tools (BSM, OMi, Network Node Manager (NNM), Operations Orchestrator (OO) , Network Automation (NA), Sitescope, VuGen).
