Summary: Responsible for managing the information, and performs administrative duties for the Repair Station and Customer Service depts. Each administrator must meet the standard job performance criteria and company policies in addition to the items below:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Expert communication and writing skills.
•Interface with customers via telephone and or e-mail regarding non-technical subjects and dispatch to Repair Station Personnel.
•Send, receive and process customer facsimiles and e-mail traffic primarily involving status and service details.
•Process new customer information in the repair station MAPICS database.
•Provide quotation to customers in a timely manner.
•Review warranty claims and determine status.
•Review contract items specific to the repair station requirements for processing of customer articles.
•Process packing lists and invoicing as well as Pro-forma invoices.
•Perform data entry into a repair station entry log and print associated work orders such as airworthiness forms (8130), Maintenance Release forms and Certificate of Conformance as required.
•Must be positive, proactive, and cordial, and remain calm and collected during high pressure situations involving customers, work load and inter office demands.
•Perform general office clerical and administrative duties.
•Comply with lean work methods and keep workspace in a clean and orderly manner.
•Comply with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, ISO procedures, and Teledyne policy and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications: Entry level administrator with no specific Teledyne product or process experience. Shall have electronic data processing experience and be proficient at delivering customer care. Person shall be responsible for supporting department goals and objectives. Also requires accurate data entry skills and attention to detail. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Language Skills
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to interpret and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, & MAPICS preferred.
Other Qualifications
Must be able to sit, type and/or talk as it relates to the Repair Station for prolonged periods of time.
